The SLCDA Glycol Plant and Wildlife Services building is a 10,000-square-foot facility located just north of the Salt Lake City International Airport and is the first industrial mass timber project built in Utah. It supports critical airfield operations, including deicing and wildlife management, to ensure safe and efficient airport performance.
Project Highlights
Half of the building serves the glycol plant, with vehicle bays and office space. The other half supports wildlife services trucks, equipment, and staff offices
Features a hybrid structure with steel columns, full-length glulam beams, and a CLT (cross-laminated timber) roof
