Utah County Fuel Island Expansion
Location: Spanish Fork, UT
Client: Utah County
Duration: 13 Months
Contract Value: $3.1M
This project involved the expansion and modernization of the existing fuel island for Utah County. The scope of work began with mass excavation to remove outdated underground fuel tanks. Due to the depth and complexity of the excavation, the process required temporary shoring and active dewatering to maintain site stability and safety.
Following tank removal, three new fuel tanks were installed with precision, along with upgraded fuel pumps and associated system improvements. The project also included various site enhancements, culminating in the placement of new concrete pavement and asphalt paving to restore and improve surface functionality. The result is a modern, efficient fueling facility designed to serve the county’s growing operational needs.
