Rock Cliff Nature Center at Jordanelle Reservoir
Location: Heber, UT
Client: State of Utah
Duration: 9 months
Contract Value: $1 million
This visitor center was built on the banks of the Provo River near Jordanelle Reservoir in a designated wetlands area. Special attention was paid to minimize the impacts of construction on the surrounding environment. The project included construction of the visitor center, restrooms, pavilions, pathways, and campsites. Large spot footings were cast-in-place to support the log columns and timber construction. We self-performed the concrete and timber construction.
