Tempe Beach Park Splash Pad is a water playground for children that features water cannons, spouting whales, spitting critters and a cast in place concrete water source table constructed on a radius with an intricately carved mural. Features include a “rain drop plaza” which is a shade canopy built of stainless steel complete with thunder and rain simulating a desert lighting storm. The project also has a artificial rock wall with built in slides and water falls. Other features included landscaping, pool deck and resilient safety surfacing. CWC managed over 18 subcontractors on this project.
